I really like the hood, it’s got a cool profile, but I can do without the plastic or any of the skoowpy stuff going on.

The fender flares are a little big for my taste, you’ll need big tires and wheels to fill that space up. From everything I’ve heard, they’ve screwed up the access cab by making it a small rear door, which always for me has been a dealbreaker, but it will make mine with a suicide door just a little bit more cool.

The roof is cool too, something I’ve been looking at doing to mine, I think it’ll match up well with a smart cap when I get there.

It’s definitely a cool looking rig, but I still think there’s a little bit of Tacundra in the there, a relief, some of the earlier renderings were so off-base.

Yeah problem with a superduty is it's huge, and unless you're making actual use of it, not something I could justify anyway. Just to step up to some acceptable trim level, I want to say I was in the 70 thousands. My neighbor has 35's on his Gladiator and it looks pretty good. I don't know what kind of lift he has...but if he's ever outside, I will ask him.

And @MonkeyChief - my other neighbor literally just traded his tacoma trd pro in for a tundra...and i'm not too versed on their trim levels, but judging from this thing, it's pretty souped up...it looks small. Like encroaching on Tacoma size...I bet some people will have a hard time telling the difference between a Tundra and a Tacoma for sure, with differing trim levels and so on.

My son-in-law has a huge super duty 4x4 that he uses for work, but when they are getting around town in the LA area, they have to use my daughter’s 4Runner because the damn thing is useless in any congested urban space.

I told him not to bother to drive it up to visit us either because it won’t fit in my driveway.

I could justify it for being a tow pig, not sure of the quality though. My buddy has one, who is Ford fanatic even worked at a dealership. Already little shit going wrong with it under 40K miles. It is unfortunate that Toyota doesn’t make a 1 Ton.

Was watching some video on Jeep with one of the engineers, said sure it comes with small tires but wouldn’t take much to fit 37s *wink wink*, we can’t put them on from the factory, but it is designed to.

Actually that isn’t a bad idea, when I first saw it reminds me of a landau top from the 70s, but with a black topper, might not be too-too bad. Have a Chip Foose vibe to it, he likes to do tu-tone paint schemes.

Have trim levels been revealed yet? I am not able to find anything online. So let's speculate :)

The TRD Off Road and TRD Sport will be gone. The Trail Hunter will replace the OR, the sport will basically be the Limited now, and the TRD Pro will remain in the lineup along with the SR5 and the SR.

    Nailed it.

I saw a tundra on the road today and actually did kind of a double take because it did look small. The front end with the vents and grill really matched too. I don’t know what trim level it was but it had a TRD logo on the center grill bar.

oh man, if they mess up the access cab AND lose the TRD OR, I really pulled the trigger at the right time.

I was more thinking they were building the trail hunter like the Bronco raptor with offset wheels and fender flares to cover it up instead of unique bodywork?

Looked at the Tundra at the dealer, pulled my 3G behind it, and glanced down the sides. It isn’t much wider than my truck. (why I wonder if the 4G will share the same chassis) Interior feels similar too, only difference is that the center console is a bit wider…does feel snugger than the 2G Tundy. Not a bad thing though. My wife and I aren’t terribly big people.

So like something above the TRD Pro trim, or just something more performance focused? Both?

Seems to be very "un-Toyota" to put Tundra V6 turbo hybrid in Tacoma TRD Pro

I know Mazda put the same engine in their smallest hatchback as well as their 7 seater CX-9, only because Mazda couldn't afford the R & D to come up with another engine.

Yet, I was wrong about 6MT, I'd be happy to be wrong again

I would guess more trim levels not less.

As the sun comes up tomorrow, NO WAY. OR is way, way too popular.

This leaked image looks like it will be an Off Road, it has black fender flares and no hood scoop.

TFLTRUCK seems to think Trailhunter will be positioned between the OR and Pro.
