Ok, I've been looking for months now and I finally snagged a 2012 w/ 60k. I have a good chunk of play money I was expecting to spend on the truck, and I need get some advice before I start flinging it around.
Can anybody point me in the right direction for some brush guards, or advice if I even need them? I drive through a lot of wooded areas during hunting season, and I've hit a deer or two that has done some heavy damage to my front end of my previous truck. They're everywhere, and you stand a pretty high chance of hitting them year round.
Another concept that I am new to is having bed racks like this:

I do a lot of camping, hunting kayaking, and traveling. And most importantly, it looks badass. I think it may open a few options, as well as limit me in other areas, too.

And does anyone know of some lockable tool boxes that mount on the rails that go around the bed? Above everything listed, I need a good lockable, low profile box that won't fail me.
My last truck was a 2WD dodge that pulled a boat and got stuck in front lawns. I looking for flexibility, and utility. The fact that I live in the mountains and finally have a dependable 4x4 is almost life changing. Now all I need is some constructive advice.
    Thanks!

Congrats and enjoy. A lift and meatier tires definitely. And as far as the chunk of money you have, don't worry you'll run out of that quickly just keep hanging around here lol.

I went with OME springs and Bilstein 5100s upfront and Deaver add a leaf on the back. About 2.75" of lift.
