    Just became a member,
    Known of this forum for years and utilized it when needed but never really got into it with my first Tacoma that I still have.
    Its a 2001 V6 TRD 4x2, lock diff, with 4" body lift.
    Not much to compared to with all these new gens. these days but Its been a great buddy and its still truckin at only 180k on it.

    The reason why Im just now joining TW is because Im ready for a new 17 or 18 Tacoma.
    I have a basic idea of what I want and how Im going to do it, but an unfathomable amount of research that needs to be done here on TW.
    This time instead of making it for a little play and a lot of look like my 01, this upcoming one will be for optimum performance as well.

    Im looking forward to meeting and communicating through this forum with y'all and hope to put on a good show with this craftsmanship to come.

    Austin will always be my home base but at the moment I'm doing some travel/work.
    Might be takin the 01 to the Bahamas for awhile.
    Hints" is why I need/want a new one for the states.

    Definitely a manual if possible,
    Trd would be preferred....
    SR5 with all the bells and whistles would work too.
