    I would argue that it's easier to stuff a full 100 piece set in the truck than deal with removing a rounded off nut or f*cked up bolt, but to each their own. Nothin' tighter than stripped, am I right?

    Edit: Here you go OP, the only 2 sockets you'll ever need.

    Very true. I haven't had a problem yet doing this with any of my vehicles but it does have the potential to go wrong.

    Our sliders use 1/2" SAE bolts, 3/4" head which also works with a 19mm. Our bed accessories use 3/8" hardware which use a 9/16" wrench, or conveniently a 14mm also fits. :cool:

    When I was in mechanic and body work back in the 80's, all the guys in our shop just had the standard and then everything went to metric and now I wish the US would go all metric...what's easier to divide by 10 or 12?...

    All the tools you would need fit in this bag. Unless the truck breaks in half.

    14mm = 9/16"
    19mm = 1/2"
    21mm = 13/16"
    24mm = 15/16"

    These are more or less measurements. When I build, I try and use those sizes as I do not carry sae wrenches, but sae hardware is much more plentiful and affordable.

    Sorry I have no shower puns.

    I could get it home, but it would be like... you know how sometimes when a dog stretches, he/she will crawl with its front legs, and its hind legs are stretched out behind them? Just dragging the rear end along? Love that shit, cracks me up every time. Sometimes I do it for shits and giggles and my gf stares at me like I'm special needs. It would be like that. I would drive it home like that.

    I dont think that bag is long enough for a breaker bar. Or a pry bar. And even then it appears a little small.

    You think? Hm. Well I have a breaker bar in there. It's just a two piece. But put together, place the ratchet in there, and it works great. Same with the pry bar and lady slipper. There's also an obd2 reader and a jump starter (gasp) but you're right, it IS a small bag, which is the point.

    If it works for you. I understand small is your goal, but I dunno how fun it would be to change out a cv axle with a 2pc breaker bar on that 36mm nut or a 2pc pry bar to pop the cv out. Good luck.

    I've been carrying this set in my truck(s) since 96. I would of swore it was less then $100 back then. I love it and it still works great. I've been thinking about getting another just because. But I'll definitely take a look at that lowes kit.

    62 Pc Metrinch Combo Spanner Socket & Wrench Set https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000WR3JUO/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_ukGnzb7CQREFP

    They are selling it direct for less then Amazon right now.

    Doesn't sound like it would be any fun. But then, it doesn't say "fun" on the side of the bag. Besides... I think I would change my cv at home. See, this is an "oh shit I wanna get home" bag. And having a prybar to change out a cv is a luxury.

    I used to hate metric as a kid working with Grandpa, almost everything he had was SAE.

    Now after years of wrenching on my own Japanese truck/ATVs and currently studying engineering, I prefer Metric. :(
