Hello, so for the heretic wiring harness it states
    Black wire = ground
    Red wire = load
    Yellow wire = supply

what do load and supply mean?

to connect to a ch4x4 switch that i am only wanting lit when pushed and off when not pushed. Not tapping to add a fuse or anything.

    the ch4x4 switch is

    81FCE4A0-3232-4BD3-A34E-9ECB09EDC639.jpg

so heretic to ch4x4 should be?

Heretic black to ch4x4 black (grounds)
    Heretic red to? Ch4x4 ?
    Heretic yellow to ch4x4?

i believe I will connect red 1 & 2 together on the switch side.

    any help is appreciated

here is the heretic lighting paper provided to me .

also no relay???? Do i need to install one?

with all of this said, I would think
    Black to black
Heretic red to switch red 1 and 2
    Heretic yellow to switch green

supply is the source of power and the load is anything that you are switching on or off to control it like a light fitting, element, motor etc.

The supply goes into the light switch and then is transferred to a load when you flip the switch which goes to the lights. Hope that helps.

Connect Black to ground. Twist reds together and connect to red wire. Connect green to yellow. Or if you want switch to alluminate when you flip dash lights on you could twist red 2 and green and connect to yellow. You would need to fuse to like your headlights up under the dash to get the switch to illuminate only when you flipped on headlights though.
