Actively sliding, or just stuck for now? If sliding, I think I see some tree debris nearby. Maybe a large enough piece can be used to chock your wheels and keep it from moving further.

You can do it visually. Watch them start to squish.
May very well get you enough traction to get out

I see a few groups in the California area that are recovery specific. The most trafficked appears to be NOR-CAL 4X4 although that may be a bit too far north. Let me know if you need help coordinating.

As mentioned: strap to a tree if your sliding actively. Take branches of the fir trees with the needles attached and shove them under your tires. Get as much there as you can.

    Just 3 tons of fun!!!
I'm watching... stuck at work right now. No way I can come today.

I didn't see an answer. Is your truck still sliding or has it come to rest??

How far from road (or somewhat level ground) are you?
Are you in a place where the truck can be (reasonably safely) left overnight?
I know that is not the optimum to leave the truck, but it may be neccesary if no one can get out there.

    Are you alone?
How far is the walk down to Shaver Lake or the nearest people?
Do you have food, water, and warm clothes?
