    Hello,
    Got a 2017 trd sport 4x4,
Recently I noticed hesitation coming off of a stop, I put my foot all the way on the gas and the truck seems to struggle taking off, it doesn't even rev up until a couple second later, it doesn't do it all the times and I got no codes whatsoever. BTW trans is been serviced drain/fill and everything

Try to get a dealer to update your ecu if you haven’t already or don’t know what version it’s on. They really ironed out the kinks toward the end of the 3rd gen, and it won’t hurt to try.
If you still aren’t happy after the truck is updated, most people around here recommend getting a tune. I had my ‘19 tuned two weeks after I bought it for this exact reason. The dude updated it before he installed the tune, but either way acceleration from stopped was noticeably improved.
OTT seems like it’s the most popular right now with KDMAX a close second.
    Welcome to the forum!

Yeah mine was the same. It’s actually kind of dangerous if you’re trying to turn into traffic and it lags. Got mine KDMax tuned and although not perfect it’s much improved.

Pedal commander or any other throttle controller will help with that. I keep mine in sport 1 or 2 and it feels great.
I agree though, that lag will get you in some hairy situations….

Blackout package - planned: black bed logos, black wheel vinyls, front seat window tint, tires.
OTT Tune will solve this problem completely. It also solves the gear hunting, and the lag when going around corners. Just invest the money and you'll be happy you did. I'm two tanks into my tune and, and with just my normal short trip (under 4 miles) driving, I'm seeing an uptick of about 2 mpg as well. Not much, but I'll take it. YMMV.

Try not putting your foot all the way to the floor immediately off the line. Modern vehicles are computer driven and flooring it causes the computer to take an extra second to think about the sudden inputs it needs to make. If you get on it a bit more gradually you'll actually have better response. This isn't limited to the Tacoma. I've also experienced this in other vehicles that are drive-by-wire such as the Ford Explorer.
