'01 v6 Tacoma 342,000. I keep getting a slight hesitation exactly at 25 MPH and then again at 60 MPH?! Not throwing a code. Fuel filter new, spark plugs new and properly gapped. Seafoamed it and cleaned the throttle plate and surfaces which was decarbonized. Changed the spark plug wires to new Npk's. When I changed the plugs noticed corrosion on one of the coils where the wire attaches. I cleaned it up but I am thinking that if corroded there probably inside corrosion. Coils are $175 to replace so before I attempt that...thoughts? Any ideas what else it might be? Seems to be less notice when I just gun it or after it heats up.

    pinstripes. lots of pinstripes.
Where is engine rpm or throttle position? Test the throttle position sensor per manual and see if that's playing a part.

Generally if the coil is bad, heat will make it worse.

Remains to be seen I bought the tires and wheels the rest came along
Watch your rpm not your road speed .

    Auto or manual ??

If an auto it might be a Transmission Issue.
