I've cleared the codes a couple times but they return within a couple days. I was hoping Hewitt-Tech would chime in here, but I guess I'll need to give them a call.

 

Negative on the intake.

 

I just ordered the kit 30 seconds ago, dang hope I don't have any problems. Email him too he is pretty quick to respond. I have emailed back and forth with him over the last week asking questions.

 

I just sent them a message through their website, I let you know when I get a response.

Been messing with this for 3 hours
How in the hell do these block off plates go in? Seems like anyway you put them in it doesn't sit back flush so looks like air leaks will happen....also, no way these stock bolts are long enough to hold it together once the plate is in. I have stripped two cause it doesn't have enough length to grab when tightened....beyond frustrated and can't drive anywhere to find longer bolts.
Any suggestions on how the plates sit?

 

Not rocket science! Lol. I didn't unbolt all the way, just enough to 'slide' the plates in. I had no issues I'll get some pics. Dunno if they will help or not

I went and bought IAT cleaner and cleaned it, got Throttle body cleaner and cleaned my butterfly. Spent the entire day on this little project from 10am-8pm and the only thing I can think of is the bypass is either faulty or "not perfected" yet like the original one you got.
Interested to see what Paul has to say, emailed him twice and called him once, maybe I'll hear from him Tuesday :/

I have trouble shooted with them over the past few days but today they shipped me out a new bypass to try and see if the one I have was defective. I hope that it is defective cause I need this code to clear and not drop anymore coin into this problem.

Yeah I never got any response from Paul's direct email...funny thing is he was responding to me quickly over the past few weeks, not sure if he is "out of town" or if me actually buying it puts me on the non priority email list now. Lol
But Becky has been pretty quick and responsive. Give her a try.

update:

My battery was going bad and after I replaced my battery on Sat everything is working as should and fixed the problem. The bypass seems to be working fine Maybe didn't get enough juice on crank or something to kick it on. IDK but not complaining, no codes!

 

No luck here, I've emailed Hewitt-tech (again) and I'm hoping this gets resolved soon. After last email I was told to check vacuum lines, loose block-off plates, etc. I've gone over all this several times and the codes continue to return (codes that I didn't get before the install). VERY VERY FRUSTRATING
