Well shit man, I'm reading through some of these threads and it sounds like you are having every possible problem with your truck. Sorry to hear! Have you been able to get them sorted out? I'd be pretty pissed off if I were in your shoes...

The software TSB helped with the transmission but it is still just acting weird (shift flare and dead pedal feeling reduced but still there). My leaf springs have an interim fix and are not currently squeaking-- supposedly Toyota is working on a permanent fix. Driveline buzz/vibration is still there but a lower priority issue for me at the moment. Hood adhesive is failing; holding off to see what the official fix from Toyota will be and hoping it will not be to ship it off to the body shop for a reglue and repaint (can live with it in the moment). Brakes are squeaking pretty good when coming to a stop, I had it in the dealer to get this fixed but it is still doing it. Most concerning issue is rear differential was showing signs of premature wear. They were able to isolate the Howling noise it was making on the lift with a stethoscope (premature wear in the carrier assembly) so they removed & replaced but now the new one is starting to howl again too. Toyota offered a 125K /8 Year platinum warranty. Really don't want to lemon law the truck but if toyota offered to buy it back and replace with same config 2017, I'd definitely take them up on it. Just don't see that happening right now. I'm on the brink of qualifying for lemon law but not sure I want to go down that path. Most likely will just keep raising hell with Toyota, hope things improve/get fixed. In three years if the situation has not dramatically improved, it will be my last Toyota and I'll be dumping it off for maybe a new Ranger or Frontier depending how they look and feel. Otherwise will go back to a full size, probably a big turbo diesel. Fuck it.

Well shit man, sorry to hear. That rear diff issue is concerning. I'll have to keep an eye/ear out for it. At least you got a 125k/8yr warranty extension; I think that's the least they could do considering all your trouble. I watched your leaf spring video...holy shit man! And to think I was annoyed with a little rattle in the moon roof while off-roading (fixed myself by replacing the little pad under that front bar). That suspension squeak would drive me nuts!
