Mine's coming up next month too, reg and emissions

 

My inspection is up at the end of the month, that's what got me thinking my reg must be due. Truck should pass no problem, it's only got like 25,000 miles.

 

That depends, a temp fix so it doesn't fall or a more permanent attempt?

I mean, my wife's old Rav broke right at the muffler/main and for the short term I bought a coupler, clamps, tape as a stopgap since the shop was 2 weeks out.

Inspection this weekend, fortunately no argument about the seatbelt issue. Not sure if it was emissions as well (every other year here but they don't give you the report anymore). Next year going forward, no more emissions check.

Oh, DRI..this was about 12 yrs ago

 

Most of the stuff I see is from other shops and it’s permanent.

Pretty decent frost here this morning.

 

Good morning CT friends. American Poly down in CT came up yesterday to start the grind and polish on my basement floors yesterday. Cool process to watch and glad I didn’t attempt myself and subbed this job out. They did leave a small basement window open all night which was annoying being so cold now. Not sure it was intentional to off gas any chemicals or accident.

 

Definitely to ventilate. My living room after the process was enough to knock you out.

 

Broke down, gave the furnace a once over, and fired up the heat today. Wife was complaining it was "like a refrigerator" in here when she got up this morning. FYI it was 63 degrees inside when I got up. Everyone complains when it's cold but neither her nor my daughter ever take me up on my offers for them to take over the utility bill and set the thermostat to whatever they'd like.

 

On antibiotics.

 

We've had it on for a few days already. Ugh.

 

Yeah... I've had my heat on for a few days as well.

Gotta do it with kids in the house.

First world problems...

I need to buy an internal SSD for my PS5 because it's running out of space, but I'm too cheap. LOL

Only need a 1TB one, not more than that.

Game Stop sells their branded ne and it's a bit over $100. WD also sells an "official" Playstation branded one and that's about $120.
