MONDAY MOTIVATION

Small gestures can have big effect...

After a disagreement with my fat ass co-worker Mike I thought a peace offering was appropriate.
On the way to work I stopped at Krispy Kreme and bought a donut.
I left the Krispy Kreme bag on fat ass Mike's desk.
The Krispy Kreme bag was filled with the carrot and celery sticks I bought the night before.
The donut was delicious.

@super_white After 15 Years of Being a Paid Fire Fighter and Moving up to Asst Fire Chief the Politics in the small town Village Government started to kick in. The new Village Manger started to clean house so he could hire his own staff. Well he was doing a good job. I got a text message from the Village Clerk that said "Your Head Is Next". It took about 6 months and I was out the door. So I moved off the mountain and came back down to the desert and went to work for the County. I went to work for the Road Department as a Mechanic. The supplied the tools and Boxes but Snap On and Cornwell still stopped by every week. Well Snap On was running on of their promotions and I ended up winning the 56" Epic Box in the Picture. It came home with me. I had a 26" top and bottom with two side boxes from U.S. General for about 6 years. I had out grown them and I was about to move up to the 46" top and bottom. So now I have the 26" top on the Snap On bottom.

Kiddo won his last Travel soccer game of the season, playing for Danbury Travel. Won 7-1 against Redding.

Our team was made up all 2014 born kids and one 2015 born kid, playing against all 2013 born kids.

Granted we weren't playing in the top division, but it was fair because the team decided to "play up a year" this spring so they figured it would be best to not play in the top division. The size difference of our kids would have killed us. And we saw that when we played a few teams this season. If they had been a little bit better skilled, we would have lost.

So we ended up 6-2.

Now we have a break this week, and next week we start up again for our Premier Club (AC Connecticut) to compete in a very competitive summer league. If we win the league, we get to go to FL in December for the national tournament.
