Hey Connecticut, our everything hurts

I was using one crutch for 8 weeks some time ago, the people at my job who were rude held a special place in my heart. Never forgot the lady who saw me trying to hustle to the elevator and said "oh I'm not waiting" and shut the door.

So far it's a USB fan, microphone tray with a phone and cup holder, and extra cushion including memory foam

Happy hump day. Day off today. Trying to finish dialing in the truck, going camping at Lake Waramaug on the 30th for a week.

 

We were camping in the Adirondacks with my SIL and got a bad day of rain. We decided to head to the nearest town and see a movie (along with everyone else in upstate NY apparently). So...we see "The Art of Racing in the Rain", the story of a race driver and his dog. Right at the beginning of the movie the dog dies and there isn't a dry eye in the theater.

The movie now tells the story of him getting the dog as a puppy, his life, his racing career and is now coming back to the approaching death of the dog (for the 2nd time). The entire theater is in tears. My SIL, in between sobs, turns to me and says "I'M NEVER GOING TO THE MOVIES WITH YOU AGAIN!"

Just in time for me to be coming home from the Cape

 

We walked 2 miles around the campground and I guess we going to head over to Mohegan Sun in a little while. Looked like the sun tried to come out . Failure , completely overcast .

If that movie is on TV I always take a pic of the screen and text it to my SIL with the caption "the dog gets it"
