Happy Saturday. Much needed rain. Grass was starting to die already.

 

Perfect day for off-roading.

 

New wheels and tires 2 days ago. Loved the look of the Super Swampers, but the KM3’s will be 95% as good off-road and 400% better on road!

 

I got the grass mowed on Thursday. My strawberries are liking this rain and should start ripening up over the next week. My new plantings of raspberries, asparagus and elderberries are also enjoying the moisture.

 

The good thing about rain - no wasted 2 hours mowing the grass.

Indeed it was! I saw the rtt and was like “oh finally someone gets it!” Then I saw the rest of the truck and new exactly who! I was on the way home from grabbing new rear leaf springs

 

I caught a glimpse of the wave right as i was passing you. Distracted by the baby in the back seat with my sister. Felt like a dbag for not waving back on time.

Just got back from checking out the New England Air museum. Pretty awesome stuff; amazing to see all the contributions CT had made to air and space throughout history. Capped off with some Bears Bbq.

I've had it with the rabbit in my yard, no matter how many times I scare it with different things (including my dog) it keeps coming back and leaving everywhere for my dog to eat.
I normally don't resort to death of animals unless it's a true varmint, mice and red squirrels mostly, but my dog has a bad habit of eating rabbit poop.
I looked into it a while back and the normal poop won't do anything to the dog.
But apparently there is another type of poop that they can drop and it's very bad for dogs to eat.
This is ending today...

 

I thought about using a have a heart trap also but with my luck I'll get a skunk before the rabbit

Rabbits hate the smell of garlic, too strong for their sensitive nose. Grab a Costco size container of granulated garlic (not garlic salt) and sprinkle it around. Worked well to keep them out of my landscaping. My neighbor across the road had them move to under his deck. Gave it to him, also worked for him.
