the U-bolts already came with mine Icon AAL kit, and this step is what is going to take you longer to do,
the shocks you always can do it later and is pretty easy forward,

 

Prius Died yesterday - the hybrid 'triangle of death'. removed the trunk interior up to & including the back seat seat-backs, pulled out the 80# battery pack.
Now I have to open the battery pack & test each of the 28 cells. See how many to order. Heavy work, but freakishly easy. Just wish Toyota had designed it a little differently so you didn't have to remove the whole 80# lump to change a cell. Cells sell for about $40 each. When I checked a couple years back Toyota wanted $5k to 'fix' the hybrid battery pack. I'll get my hands dirty.

 

Yup I bought mine off of another TW member with stock low mileage leafs but stupidly enough I knew I needed to order them 3 weeks ago I just spaced hah

Cold and wet weekend at Lime rock for the races ,but its still worth it. Always fun seeing the cars climbing the uphill part of the track, especially in the rain.

I take it they did not use the chicane at top of climbing turn? Kinda surprised.

I can remember snow flurries one Memorial Day weekend morning prior to a Trans Am.

 

Anybody have any experience with aftermarket tpms sensors? Pro/Con?

 

I have Schraders in my aftermarket wheels. no problems. Just need to know the codes to have TechStream program them in. Easiest is to get programmable sensors and clone the existing numbers.

You are correct . No chicane for these guys. The chicane is only used for the IMSA weekend in July. Those cars are to fast to use the uphill. They put that chicane in years ago when the endurance racing cars were getting to fast.
