What a difference in the temp today .

 

Anyone catch the light show last night? Couple times the sky was bright as day from the lightning

 

Anyone have a recommendation on gas power washers?

Was quickly looking at what HD has. Figured I would ask around here on feedback or recommendations before pulling the trigger.

Mostly for cleaning the driveway, deck maintenance, and for use with the foam cannon I got for my bday.

 

It depends on what you want to use it for to determine the PSI. House washing, driveway, concrete, decking, truck wash etc. Anything with a honda engine is going to be reliable but engines have changed so much over the years so I can't really recommend any other particular brand or engine due to this other than Honda. Shoot me a text later and we can talk about it. I used to sell them back in the day and still have a lot of knowledge so you don't purchase something huge that you don't need or something too small for what you want to do with it.

 

I have an electric one I paid $175 or so for a couple of years ago, I can check the particulars but it does those things you mentioned just fine for me.

 

Specs for the cannon recommended at least 2 gpm; psi not to exceed 3500; which leaves room for a-lot of options. I prefer a gas one because thats what I am used to and what may dad always had when I was growing up. I figured with the numerous nozzles, a mid-small gas one would check off all the boxes.

I was looking at one of the dewalts from hd, with a honda engine but the reviews all seem negative. The one I was looking at was the dewalt 3300 psi/2.4 gph (model#DXPW33241); I would link but my service sucks right now.

I value reliability, so if I have to pay a little more for that I am fine with it.

Wasnt sure if there were better places to look at compared to a big box store.

 

I'll just chime in here with this....I would look for a pressure washer(or any power equipment) at a power equipment place. A place where you'd buy a mower or other lawn equipment. You might pay a little more, but the quality will be a lot better. Also, if it ever needed service, that type of place would be able to service it. Good luck in your search!

I think I mentioned the Taco is getting a new fuel tank installed. Turns out the hard part is getting the right straps to hold the tank on. Old straps were done, but mechanic keeps getting in wrong straps. Wonder if the new frame changed something from the original? Likely back Saturday. Been an odd week having only 1 vehicle to drive. Happy Friday all.
