Move to the coast and within the first week we basically get headshot by the first hurricane to make landfall in NE in whatever amount of years, sounds about right lmao

The fucker is tracking more and more West. may be a direct hit if it keeps tracking that way.

Just had my shoulder surgery today, so I'm in no position to one hand a chainsaw.:bananadead:

Generator I can handle. have a siphon hose as well with an outboard motor squeeze bulb.

Just bad timing all around for me. :bananadead:

Don't need this shit right now.
Latest models show it tracking even further West.

    Its coming right for us!!!

Part of me gets so excited for big natural events like this. But now that I'm a home owner its just stressful lol.

Got our generator hooked up last week, and I will be checking the sump pump this afternoon.

Gonna have a lot of outages down my way because the local morons don't like trees cut for utilities.
Most of the 80ft mature oaks around here are hollow like bongo drums.

Went out early this morning to top off the Taco and the all night gas stations were already packed.

I have plenty of fuel and a new generator I bought last year.
Plus I have a full tank in the "Nova Gas Station" I can siphon . Hate to burn 93 in the gennie.

Yeah I have a handful of trees near my lines I'm worried about that are basically hollow like you say, I think we aren't in too different of areas ha.

I'm surprised there are already lines! I guess the "early birds" are out there today. I always keep 10 gallons of gas and 10 of diesel for my mowers/tractor and we have underground propane tanks that run the generator.

We have a wedding today, actually a couple from CT I believe, lots of them canceled last minute it seems. I think between the storm and covid they just aren't willing to risk it. I had 3 tours lined up Sunday, two have already canceled with the rain...

    Morning all.
Don’t forget a quart or two of oil for the generator. They can use some oil when screaming at 3,600 rpm for a few days.
