I have had a Bakflip G2 tri-fold for 10 years on my 2nd gen in CT and it has been AMAZING. I am in the process of replacing some of the rubber seals and stuff that have started to wear and tear from constant usage. I Had to Liquid Nails (fuze it) 1 of the crossmembers back into place since the factory adhesive had started to sag over the summer heat. I went ahead and Fuzed the other crossmember along the edges and some of the areas that it was starting to gap also. I purchased a couple of parts from BakFlip direct to replace the other worn parts.

BAKFLIP CAB BUMPER KIT (2)- $9.96 replacing the protective bumpers that are on each of the 3 sections. They are starting to tear
BAKFLIP ELEVATOR BOLT KIT-$9.98 -starting to rust
BAKFLIP DRAIN TUBES (1)-$6.98 - many season changes are making them harden and starting to clog.
BAKFLIP DRAIN CAPS (1) -$5.98- they seem to be ok, but im doing it all anyways so $5 is not bad.
BAKFLIP PROP ROD (2)-$23.96- same as before... preventative part of project.
BAKFLIP/RX2 FLAT RAIL SEAL- $15.98 Runs down the sides of the truck bed it takes the weight of the cover. It is fully compressed in some areas and tearing in others.
    Order Total: $77.47

Totally worth the initial $850+ that they cost 11 years ago

Big red is ready for the snow. All fixed up after it grenaded oil cooler lines. Mice got into the harness, and it needed a new starter and battery. Fun little bill.

I have the same type of backflip G2 that you have mine's been great since 2013 seals are still in good shape but the slide locks that you undo from the Inside are starting to fail I tried to take one apart to replace the attachment but it seems like I have to disassemble the whole back Leaf to do it that would be an ongoing project in the spring.

Wife's camry has a gnarly exhaust leak so I bought her a new gasket thinking it'd be a simple swap...nuts were gone and the bolts were rusted on. Had to grind both off and drill one out. Got it done but the pipe is corroded to shit so who knows how long it'll last lol, hope it waits til after winter :fingerscrossed:

You probably have another year or so anyway. My 2010 is still original, the hanger fell off this year but that was because of the frame rot. My wife's 2005 Rav4 lasted 12-13 years at about 130K
