I ran outside yesterday and test fit my Powertrays mount and quickly ran back inside.
    Damn it was cold.

Just keep saying that it will make the ride more enjoyable for her too. That's how I was able to get the wet okele seat covers... I added the full heat and lumbar support options "for her".

Love those heated seats with this year cold winter days. They heat up so quick.

This actually kinda happened for me this spring when I had the Chevy Malibu rental with heated seats. Perfect timing b/c she came off her arthritis meds and her back was really bad, the seats helped a lot. Ended up letting her drive that for the rest of the time pre surgery

    LMFAO!

Today I was told that my reply to an email where I was volunteered to be the backup for a person while they are out (which I knew nothing about until I was CCed on that email) saying that I would have to speak to my coworker about it (who I already cover for and am covering for since he's out), could be taken as unprofessional and disrespectful because this so called "supervisor" of mine (and mind you she is only my "supervisor" because my actual supervisor switched positions back in the summer and they just recently hired someone to fill her position and are still training here) had already said I would do it.

Pardon me fuck head. Unprofessional and disrespectful is you volunteering me for something without my knowledge and not having the decency to at least tell me about it first, or even asking me for my opinion, regardless if you were going to do it anyway or not.

That really put a shit stain on my day. The Mrs had to talk me off the ledge about putting my two week's notice in on the spot.

Fuck this shit. I've been getting shit on left and right by all sorts idiots I deal with on a daily basis, putting in more time than I'm actually clocking in while covering for my coworker because the work load is unfucking believable so I'm not starting off the next day behind, bend over backwards and take it up the ass every time I'm told to do something, constantly looking over my shoulder because people have it out for me because they don't like being told the truth, and I still get shit on top of it all and more work thrown at me.

Next week I'm off. You better believe I'm gonna spend some time everyday, multiple times a day, looking for a new job and looking at postings. My new year's resolution is to tell them to shove it and put in my two weeks notice ASAP.

Just don't let your temper get the best of you bro. You want to leave on your terms, not theirs & you may need references. Keep looking; don't know if CT is hiring but some state dep'ts have sweet gigs. Keep your chin up. Not too far up of course; you know the rule: protect yourself at all times.

O'riley in southwick had the full front assembly with cat for ~$450 to fit a 2007 camry 4cyl. My wife's had the same issue. Sunoco station in southwick have some great welders and I went that route for less than $100

Right about the time I'm voulentold anything is usually the time I'm out the door. I've always looked at employment like a contract, I agree to sell you my time and skill based on a monetary scale and at any time if that contract isn't 100% voluntary and honored I'm out. Immediately. Having said that I've also have a few trades so I can have options and avenues to pursue depending on years and markets. Nuno best advise I can give you is sharpen that resume and hit it hard, there are a lot of great places hiring out there and they are strapped for people, try something completely new to give yourself a challenge, you'll be surprised at how many of your present skills translate to all types of business lines even places you never thought you'd get into! There have been a few leaps of faith over the last 20+ years but almost every one of them has been rewarding or taught me a lesson I needed to learn, you'll be surprised at the how much more you enjoy simple things like having more time with the kids and WAY less stress!

Yeah, the job market is yours at this point in time full stop. Absolutely no need to take that crap when there's several people who'd be happy to have a reliable, hard working employee

Definitely gonna be looking next week while I'm off, and enjoying my time away from work while in FL visiting my bro in law.

I passed up that job at the end of summer working for the town parks and rec, because it was a seasonal job and the Mrs had a breakdown when we did the math and added up how much money we'd be "losing" because of that. I think it was a mistake looking back now. Why? Because money isn't everything and happiness is and being able to enjoy where you work. Definitely not enjoying where I work... haven't in some time but keep biting the bullet and just put my head down and plug away and move forward.

At this point, as far as work goes, I'm definitely open to anything. Heck, I was ready to take the park and rec job which is completely different than what I do now (sitting behind a computer all day, dealing with salespeople that think they are God and can't do wrong, and Customer Service reps that clearly have no clue how to do their job and I constantly have to spoon feed them).

I'm not one to ask for favors, but I appreciate the suggestion of maybe someone being able to help. But no offense, I'd like to pass on that. I like to earn things on my own, achieve what I can or cannot on my own, and take pride in that.

Next week, job search is on like Donkey Kong.

Be open to the idea of contacting a recruiter/headhunter/hiring consultant. They're pro's and can speed the search process.

Hell when I was looking in August I was blindly firing my resume off on indeed and I was getting phone calls and emails for weeks after I was already hired. I've also come to realize how important my time and mental sanity is vs a paycheck with a little more money, but again you're in a market where you definitely have the high ground in negotiations and should absolutely take advantage
