62 when I went to lunch yesterday and 1-2 inches forecasted for tomorrow.

I just want to do my lower control arm.

Off Saturday, thinking ski trip up north, after great new snow. I hope no one else has this idea, sure wouldn’t want to share the slopes with other skiers on a Saturday after a big snow

 

What to expect when skiing north east on winter break weekend:

 

pulled the shovels back out. pulled the snow thrower back out. Did the Saturday grocery shopping. Hit the library. Brought stuff home to WFH Friday.
I think I've gtd we'll get a good dousing of slush at best.

 

I don't see liquor store on that list...

 

Keep warm the old fashioned way

 

Been stopping by the house just about every night to get the mail, and check on the floor refinishing progress.

Today they put down the first coat, and second I think from my understanding after talking to the guy.

Looks really good. Mrs liked it. They left it as a natural wood color, which is nice and light. One more coat tomorrow, hopefully, and it's done.

Then the little details have to begin. Baseboard molding/trim, paint them, other small details, and kitchen island.

Hopefully we'll move the furniture back upstairs on Saturday and Sunday, so we can go back home.

Looks like not as much snow as they said, but definitely a lot of sleet and freezing rain right now here in Danbury/Brookfield.

That’s the worst . They say 8-12” here

 

Not much snow here at all in the SW corner, maybe a dusting... but a lot of ice

 

Anyone else cringe a bit driving in snow/salt?

I managed to keep my truck out of storms this year to keep it out of salt until today. Glad I got around to woolwaxing it this fall but i still hate the thought of brine and salt all over it.

 

Got mine coated in November, still hurts when I have to. Looks like we're at at least half a foot here with no slowing down

 

We had about 2 inches of snow in SE CT before it turned over to rain...which caused it to compress to about 1 inch of heavy wet slushy stuff...went out after lunch and pushed it off the driveway with a shovel (minimal lifting)...the afternoon temperatures went up to about 40°F and cleaned off the thin film of snow that was left following the driveway clearing...supposed to go down to the teens tonight.
