Hey Connecticut, our everything hurts

Meh... Been doing it via the cloud way, and seems to be going OK now that I got the hang of it. Lost a few videos at first, not sure WTF happened and how, but hopefully she won't notice. LOL

I knew she had a lot of videos on here, but GOD DAMN THERE'S A LOT OF VIDEOS!

 

So I got all of the videos out. They're all saved on my laptop.

The problem now is where to put them back in, in the SD card, so that she can watch them like she used to when they were on there.

Been doing some research and reading, and I'm afraid of what I saw... Because it's a kids tablet essentially, if I put them back they won't work because of the safety crap it has built in.

That better not be true. Gonna have to try and do some more research when I'm not working, and have more time to read up on it.

Don't know if this will help, but here goes

I had similar problems with very large files, manuals, and lots for videos and pics that took up so much space the "C" drive that it slowed the whole computer down.

My fix was I bought an external hard drive (465) GB. The salesman said it would take many years to fill it up, nope took 9 months, sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo, I went out and bought a 4 TB external hard drive and transferred everything from the 465 GB to the 4 TB plus what I couldn't transfer from the 465.

Been trying to fill the 4TB up for at least 5 years and I still have 3.51 TB left to fill.

As a side note my "C" drive is basically empty and the computer operates just like it was brand new and I can take the External drives and use them on someone else's computers, as I said I have a lot of manuals for motorcycles, my Tacoma plus appliance manuals that we have in the house

My "issue" is getting the videos that the kiddo made using her tablet, back on there in some way, or in some place, where she can watch them again like she always does.

Now that I got an SD card in her tablet, space isn't the issue anymore since I was able to get all of her pics and videos off of it. The issue now is getting them back in the right place and hopefully the right format, so that her tablet recognizes they are there, what they are, and allow her to watch them.

A bit pricey but I haven't done anything new with my truck in a couple years. Plus a coworker had their cat stolen from our company parking lot yesterday in broad daylight. Security has them on camera but the cops said the car was stolen and tags were expired. Too bad "security" didn't catch them in the act. This is in a nice section of Rocky Hill too, not some shady part of CT.

 

Also still eyeing up body mount bushings. Want to see first if I can even loosen the nuts.
