It's a 1 bolt job, $13 in parts...What else is there to do this time of year...I'm going to tell my wife that I just saved us $1387 dollars and suggest that she treat herself to a manicure and I get to go to Cabela's. What I call a win/win

I don't think it's common enough for a TSB or recall, if that's what one means by "common", but I think a lot of people look at it as really cheap insurance. That's how I look at it. The part is $560.00 to replace if the problem occurs. $13 and 5 minutes of my time to prevent a $560 failure. That's a no brainer. I even have a 125K mile bumper to bumper warranty on my truck, and I'll spend $13 just to not have to deal with the hassle of having it repaired.

 

True, maybe someday ill get around to it haha

Do it Tim!!! Trust me man, you won't regret it. Especially considering how cheap it is. We've all spent WAY WAY more on stuff that's just for looks. This is actually a good thing to do for close to no money. Can't go wrong.

 

I need to talk to you first from now on, before I buy something that the wife will get pissed about, so you can give me a good "excuse", or should I say sales pitch, so I don't sleep on the couch.

LOL. Naw man, no such thing as dumb questions around here. At least not in my opinion. We're all here to help each other out. Some people have more knowledge about certain things, and others know more about other stuff. It's all about sharing the knowledge.

Awesome, it's a deal! I'm actually headed out that way in a month or so. I try to make it back a few times a year. Be fun to hook up with folks while I'm there. Don't think I'll be driving, though...have to steal something respectable to drive.

Too bad it's a snowy one. Looking out the window real quick, doesn't look like much on the ground, yet, and NOTHING on the road. Guess the warm temperatures lately contributed to that.

Definitely not complaining.

But... they canceled school. So does that mean there's more coming, and will get worse?!
