    Good news / Bad news

    Good news - overcast, rain holding off, perfect day for Nuno to treat the lawn
    Bad news - I poked my head out, Nuno forgot to treat my lawn :eek:
    Good news - Nuno didn't treat my lawn, less mowing this year
    Bad news - The lawn needs mowing. My mistress has re-emerged to demand all my weekend time until next winter.

    What happened to the neighborhood kid who delivers papers, mows lawns & shovels snow?
    My neighborhood has 3 little girls, none tall enough to handle a lawn mower.
    Rental neighborhood - people move in w/ baby bumps & leave by age 5-7.
    Guess that's how long it takes to save a down payment to buy their own house?
    But no cheap child labor available since at least 2013. Bad News.
    But I can walk to town, the mechanic, grocery store. So there is that. Good News.

    I used to have a neighborhood kid I'd hire to shovel mulch, dig a trench, stack wood, whatever. When he graduated school and moved away I was at the chiropractor a lot more.

    Bought a couple tools and tool organization stuff in the last couple days.
    Stuff should be here today and tomorrow.
    I don't have anything to change oil filters so I had to buy a couple sets. I have a band style wrench but it won't work on the newer cartridge type filter caps.
    Going to HF today and getting a 3/8" impact wrench.

    Hope everyone has a nice Easter.

    Not a thumper motor, but a pretty cruising car...with AC.
    Current bid is cheap.

    Completed my gas tank job yesterday without any major problems.
    Looks good painted black with the stainless straps.
    Eliminated all the useless primitive emission vent lines with an old school single gas line.
    I'll remove that junk from underneath at a later date when the spirits move me.
    Just have to put some 93 in it. :bananadead:

    Should work. Gauge was stuck on full since last Summer.
    Turned on ignition with an empty tank and gauge went to empty.
    That's a plus.

    Went to HF and bought a 3/8" impact gun. It was on sale, said they had three in stock. Manager goes to the back but only could find one and it was an open box.
    Because of that I got an additional 20% off. I do have 5 days to return it if it doesn't work.
