Slept until almost 830 had some evening cocktails and stayed up past my bedtime last night . Just having coffee then I’m going to finish staining my pool deck . Supposed to rain tomorrow

 

Good afternoon CT. Two more days and I'm out of that place.

Anybody got any recommendations on meds for arthritis pain (Advil/Aleve)?

 

I think Aleve because it's an anti-inflammatory, I think.

Doesn't hammer your gutpile either like Ibuprofen.
Long term ,of course.

 

Long term, consider taking a turmeric curcumin supplement daily. Turmeric has anti-inflammatory benefits. It's helped my back and a number of other people I know. Nothing to lose trying it for a month and it's cheap.

Cleaned out some of my tool box and cart yesterday to make it easier to load into the truck and move stuff (hopefully Friday afternoon).

Going to CVS (Target) on lunch today to grab some stuff that @CTSpruceMica recommended.

Are you also taking glucosamine? We've been taking it for years for joint health. Our golden retriever sounded like a bag of hammers when he stood up and the veterinarian started him on it. It helped him so much I started using it...it works

See you also use Q10...us too. Tried niacin, gave me a rash

 

Be careful with Herbal remedies. Some Herbal remedies are potent anticoagulants and can interact with prescribed anticoagulants. A quick Google search puts Tumeric at the top of the Herbal anticoagulants. Herbals are NOT regulated and may be stronger/weaker due to no FDA regulation.

 

True. My physician knows everything I take for that reason

 

Ooh the glucosamine is good stuff but gotta take chondroitin (sp?) as well..or Osteo Biflex which already has both. I always do a cycle in winter for my knees.
