    Ted Jannetty was big on diesel trucks a number of years ago. I had him do some transmission work on my Cummins. He royally screwed it up - pretty bad. To fix it, he threw parts at it and charged me, then told me that he couldn't get it out of limp mode and said "Take it to the dealer". They then voided the remainder of the power train warranty. I'm not the only one he's screwed over. Yeah, he made a name for himself with his drag Camaro but a mechanic he is not. He's also very pricey.

    If the SWR is too high yes you can burn up the finals on it. Most good radios will actually reduce the output power to so this doesn't happen but if they can't keep up with it you run the risk of letting the magic smoke out of the box LOL. I have an SW meter and would be willing to bring it along to a meetup.

    Damm Mann ya that's definitely a bummer, I have heard about them being pricey. You got any pics laying around of this CUMMINS of yours it sounds like a wicked awesome rig, I love diesels I've always wanted one but just don't know about them to much so not sure I'd be able to work on it myself
