Hey Connecticut, our everything hurts

After some quick research I found what the ground wires that came apart are for.
Power mirror and heated mirror. The terminal was for 20-16 GA. wire and I had two 22 GA. wires in the terminal.

I'll use an 18 GA. wire in the terminal and the crimp the two smaller 22 GA, wires to that.

I have everything untaped, I'm beginning to clean up the drivers side (connectors that I've added and the connector that I mistakenly hooked up on Saturday).

Back at it.
I’ll have it done tomorrow and installed on Sunday, weather permitting.

 

Wooo its Friday, and a long weekend!!

Definitely have some play in the upper control arm bushing at the through bolt. Installed less than 2 years ago and under 15k miles.

Reached out to the manufacturer, and received an almost immediate response. Gave them all of the info they needed and they are shipping some new UCA’s out (subject to core charge, to be refunded when they receive my old ones back and inspect them and find the defect). Can’t say enough good things about their customer service so far and their intent to stand behind their product.

Now to find time to swap them in and get an alignment.

Still have to get the other problem (wheel bearing or brakes) squared away.

Covid update:

I'm basically good to go. Past my 5 days of isolation, and now just wearing a mask for another 5 days around others, which means wearing my mask in the house because...

The kids are negative, still, somehow. We had them tested Thursday since it was 5 days after contact with me, just in case. They will be tested again tomorrow since it'll be 5 days since contact with the Mrs.

The Mrs will end her 5 days of isolation today, and then have to wear the mask around others for 5 more days. She's a bit worst off then me. She still has a bad cough, but that's about it for symptoms, aside just a bit of congestion.

Weird how this Covid shit is so selective.

 

Seriously. Not sure if I should be happy that they haven't gotten it, or upset.

If we all had it we would have all been together all the time, and imune for a while for vacation to Portugal in August.

Good morning CT. Up early today.

Did anybody get rain? It was sunny most of Saturday then cloudy, but no rain. If I've known, I would've worked on my truck yesterday.
Today is supposed to be less humid so that's a good thing.

 

Not quite in CT but right by the border in Wilbraham and watched the storms roll in. We got a hard downpour for a solid 30 minutes before some on and off light rain.

 

Done and done.
The loose wires are for a connector that I’ll add later.
