I now have power mirrors. I’m pulling the mirrors off and wiring them so when I get the heated glass I could just pop it in.

I miss top loading washing machines, they were great beer coolers for parties

And in other news, idk how many gran turismo fans are out there but I finally managed to gold medal all the license tests in this one. Been trying since I first got the game in March lol

 

Learn from my mistake.
If you are wiring mirrors, you don’t have to remove the inner part (PITA to get back together).

 

The back cover is difficult to remove and now I know how to do it if I want to swap it out for a body color one.

 

You have to get this tab in the slot before the inner will fit in the mirror so you can get the screws in.

 

I have the driver side mirror wired for heat but I can't get a good crimp on the spade terminals I have.

I ordered some on Amazon and they should be here tomorrow. I'm using 22GA wire, might have to go with 20GA wire.

 

The new top loaders don't have the central agitator, it's just a big huge open cooler.

 

When did that change? I bought a new top loader 4 years ago and it still has the central stuff

 

I grew mine out and donated twice in my 30s. Took 2-3 years both times.
