Happy Monday. Watching NASA TV waiting for Artemis launch. Woops, they literally just announced postponement of launch due to fueling issue. Next possible date 9/2

 

Sames. Wfh to stay away from peeps, even though I feel great. Was hoping to see this thing fly today.

Still have the nasaspaceflight stream going to get updates.

 

Us oldsters remember when our elementary school teachers would bring in a TV and we'd watch the Gemini and Apollo program launches. Still remember the news alert for the Apollo 1 fire on the pad. Have a much younger friend who attended Emery Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach. Any launches would bring a stop to class and everyone headed outside.

 

Wish our teachers did that for us. That kind of stuff is so amazing and interesting.

We were getting our water treatment system serviced and the technician forgot to bring hydrogen peroxide. Sends me off to CVS to get some. I'm standing in line with something like eight bottles in my arms and people were staring at me like I was...maybe Walter White?

Edit: back to space stuff for a second...I've touched a moon rock
