It's a great weekend for seeing the fall colors. Those of you who are able to enjoy a drive in the next couple of days... Head up to the Mohawk mountain overlook point. Amazing place to be surrounded with amazing views.

We will prob head up there Mon or Tues. Gotta take another trip to IKEA also. o_O:facepalm:

I rode the Moto Guzzi past that lookout a few weeks back but i was returning from a day ride in SE Mass. NW Ct. and I didn't have the time.

Another great lookout is at Sount Kent Covered Bridge after going through the bridge go 20 yards and, on the left, there is a path that takes you to a great lookout overlooking the Housatonic river, you're actually standing between two falls, and it is a great site.

    Good morning CT.
    Happy Sunday

Seeing that I was still not 100% and still coughing, I did nothing yesterday apart from some grocery shopping and watching TV.

Looks like a great time! Wish I could have made it.

Me and little Michael are definitely in for next year. Lack of real skids is whats been really holding me from wheeling the past year. And that piece of the puzzle is almost set.

I plan on going to the takeover at Rausch too. Went there a couple years back completely stock- only had sliders, and was blown away by what a stock truck could do.

Saw this at a cars & coffee yesterday morning. The guys on my 911 forum would have a stroke seeing this. Mrs. SpruceMica asked to climb the ladder and checked it out.

+1 thanks for the diner recommendation.

Also thanks for the chauffer for Saturday John! I think next year, plan is to go East 100%, in which case...my truck will probably stay at camp again. Greens are fine, but stock height and tires for blues would hold up/need spotters/pulling lines all day long. And I think breaking up the groups into limits of 5-6. Whatever, full year away to plan on. Next year I promise to be more coherent on the trails :|

I'm going to remember you said this, and then if you try to bow out next year I am going to find this post and call you out on it.

No big issues other than I will be locked even if it's a lunchbox locker for more fun but there's so much... need a few days to hit it all. Lots of blues I didn't see and plenty of greens too. I have the map and plan on trying to have and stick to a plan. Found a great rock Garden at the end of the day but had no more play time.
Next year 2 days of wheeling for sure.

Very similar to our whole day. Rocks, mud, fast flat stuff. But a group of 5 could have a blast and cover a bunch of ground

Fully locked? Or do you not have a rear locker right now?
