    Going to redesign the bracket. I have a sketch already, I just need to transfer it to the piece of metal I bought after work yesterday.

    This bracket is more simple. Pulling the dash out would make this much easier but I've already had the dash out four times so I don't feel like pulling it again.

    Is the small tab a wire crimp point or is it there to retain the pin in the connector?

    It's there so you don't insert the terminal in the wrong orientation or the wrong connector. If you look at terminals and connectors you'll see that each one has a tab(s) so you can insert the terminal correctly.

    If you insert the terminal incorrectly, it will be a PITA to remove the terminal from the connector and you may damage both. I've done it.

    Good thing he's not in a pile like that in my yard. The other day a took my new holland tractor with the bush hog at full rpm through piles like that in my yard....turned those leaves into dime size pieces. They make great free lawn fertilizer.

    I have been bagging most of it and tossing it in my woods because we just had our lawn overseeded and aerated, and I dont want wet leaves killing the seedlings. My son was bummed last week about having no leaves to jump in so I saved them this week. About to blow them into the woods with rain coming tomorrow.
