    Fail #358 on doing the brakes.

    One of the reman calipers is bad so now my truck is on the lift and I needed a ride home. :frusty:

    Grrrrr, had a similar problem with my Napa calipers. One was bad and had to drive the wife's car to get the new. Sucks, sorry to hear it Harry.

    I should've known it was going to be a problem when it had some small rust spots on it. Looks like it's been sitting on the shelf forever. I wonder how many customers returned it and they keep selling it.
    The passenger side caliper went on with no issue. I'll have to put the old parts back on, put the truck outside and take a ride to NAPA to get a replacement.

    Good morning CT. Happy hump day.
    Will I finally get my brake job done today?

    As a side note, I have a car at work that got towed in. AutoZone installed a battery, backwards.
    Found two fuses under the hood that were blown, 120A alternator fuse and a radio fuse. I'll have to replace those and go from there.
    AutoZone is also supplying the parts. :rolleyes:

    Good morning CT. Happy Friday Eve.

    Happy to have my front brakes finally done. I will need to bleed them one final time as the pedal is slightly spongy.
    I haven't done a brake fluid flush yet so I can do that and at the same time, get the air out of the lines.

    Lets see how the rust resistant coating on the calipers is going to hold up.
