@atc250r - So I'm not the only one! At least the local hardware and big home improvement stores have things like connectors, some tools etc. But if I need an LM555 or 2N3904 and maybe a relay - gotta go onlne.

My 2007 2.7L Tacoma passed emissions today! Asked the kid if he knew how to drive a stick, he said yes, he drives one every day. Of course I wasn't really serious - I know the staff needs to be able to.

 

I like Microcenter but the closest one is in Yonkers.

Part number for front floor mats. If you need just fronts and don’t want to buy a full set for your ext. or dual cab truck. These are for my regular cab.

 

No, my last inspection, the inspection guy had to get the other person to inspect the Taco - no 3 peddle skills.

 

Definitely a place you can find oddball stuff. We have a mom and pop like it within an hour at least

Haven't heard of Microcenter - I just checked about them online. There used to be a 'Do It' Electronics or something like that in Mass., somewhere on I think 495 on the way to the Cape. A good sized store that could be seen from the highway. Wouldn't be surprised if that's closed too.

 

What did I do today?

Went to Danbury to see the guys and solve some world problems.

Then came home and changed the oil and filter in the Tacoma. Not a lot of miles since the last change but 2500 miles since October so I went with the time over mileage.

A 100-mile round trip from Danbury got the engine up to temp, so it was a more complete drain. Driveshaft grease tomorrow.

The one I go to in Yonkers isn't that bad of a drive. No tolls and if you time it right, little to no traffic.

Good morning CT.

I got my wire clips so I started installing those. Used a black sharpie to color the sides of the double sided tape so you don't see the white part ("mod" I read on an Amazon review).

I started putting my computer back together and was having trouble with power wires that go to the top of the motherboard. It's real tight between the top of motherboard and the radiator.
I went on Amazon and bought a new computer case, a Corsair 7000D, its slightly bigger than my current case, a Corsair 5000D. I pulled all the parts from the current case and they are on the workbench waiting for the new case which should be here Thursday.
