Hooked the hose up to hot water and rinsed and scrubbed my cab mounts, in advance of the CMC on Wednesday. Did the best I could, but I am sure theres still some on the inside where I couldn’t fit my hands.

That woolwax is amazing. Cab mounts look almost brand new after taking that stuff off.

Really cant wait for new tires, such an understatement. Cupped MTs suck..

 

What are you looking at for rubber?

 

Going back to Wildpeak ATs 285-75-16- For a number of reasons. They were great in the snow last time I had them. Quieter than mts. Still close to a 33 (but not a true 33). Wider footprint than the skinnys- which have been digging into any moderately wet ground- this has been an issue since I drive on my grass to get my truck under the deck to pull off the RTT every now and then. Expecting a dip in mpgs, but I can live with that.

Well I got word that my wife is interested in buying her moms highlander- whenever her mom is ready to get a new car. Pretty sure that’s within the next year or so. Already told my wife we are keeping her outback and that will become my daily. If that comes to fruition, 35’s will no longer a pipe dream for me.

Up late doing tests.

Finally got my radio installed and XM and navigation are working correctly. I do need to pull the radio back out because I'm missing a clip for the radio surround, not sure where it is so I'll have to order another one (or several). I had to redo the antenna cable routing because the GPS antenna cable was about 2" too short.
