@CTSpruceMica nothing wrong with Motul either. My wife's Chevy Venture had the GM 3.4L in it and went 240,000 miles on a steady diet of Walmart synthetic oil. It was using a little oil when we trade it in but it still ran like a top. I used Redline in my last Ram because it is supposed to help prevent their cam/lifter issues. I had 6 quarts of 5W20 Redline on the shelf from that truck that I put in the Taco this weekend.

 

I was out of college by the end of the '70s

I used Redline in my Miata transmission and it made a noticeable difference

Ordered the switch. Due to be delivered Wed but going to Vegas/Zion NP next week for family vacation so probably won't get around to installing until at least mid or end of April.

Good morning CT.

Did some electrical diagnosis on lunch yesterday. Wiring from the radio to the small connector at the fuse box is correct. I think I wired the small adapter cable incorrectly.
I bought a new Scion microphone and a new 20 pin Scion conversion cable. They are being delivered from Toyota today. I'll double check what pin goes where and make a new adapter cable.

I'll also see if I have the correct terminals so I don't have to make an adapter harness and just plug the microphone directly into the small plug at the fuse box.

I want this project done so I can start on my other wiring projects.
