My uncle had a sweet sprinter camper van, with a pop up roof and everything. Traded it in for a tundra pro- which he just traded in for a Tacoma TRD pro. I think he should’ve kept the van, but he had reasons to get rid of it.

More like lost than losing. LOL. There's not really any left to lose. Lost a hickory and an oak to some kind of bug too.

 

Same here. We lost two beautiful oaks to gypsy moth infestation several years ago. The oak foliage loss in eastern Connecticut and Rhode Island was so bad you could see it on satellite photos. Green and then two months later brown. It was so bad we could be on our deck at night and literally hear the caterpillars feeding...it was gross. I'd had to blow caterpillar crap off the walkways in our yard...it was like poppy seeds everywhere. Tree guys made a lot of $ in our area.

I was going to say I recognized a few of those vehicles. He’s getting more business in the van world day by day it seems. He did some work on my old 4Runner and my current GX. Great shop to deal with.

 

Yeah, we had a two big ones in my neighbor's yard (3 foot diameter trunk), a decent 2 foot diameter one, and a couple 18 inch ones in mine. All gone in the past 10 years. The oak we lost was 4 foot across and gave us a lot of much appreciated shade in the yard but it's gone too.

Caralho is another way of saying fuck in Portuguese.

Actually, fuck is fodase, and caralho actually means "dick" but it can also be used in the same context as fuck.

Another truckload of ash out 9f the yard. I think 2 more and it'll be gone. It'll. Be nice not mowing around it.

 

Don't people hire tree people to spray the trees so the bugs & viruses don't kill the trees anymore? When I was a lad the Dr. across the street had their trees sprayed every spring. (Don'tchalovearunonsentence!) Of course, we all stood at the closed window watching & holding our breath - just in case.

every project you're wrapping up reminds me how far behind I'm getting already. You've done the lawn, spring cleaned the truck, no doubt edge the beds, amended the soil...

Well I weed/feeded the lawn today in prep for the rain tonight & I Grub-X'd too since I saw a grub while pulling dandelions the other day. Dunno if you can do both of those at the same time, but I did.

I really need to astro-turf.
