I just ordered the drivers side. I’m going to move the small aux fuse box a little forward.

I had my truck in the shop getting brake pads installed and a few other things looked at. One thing my mechanic found is the dust boot for my Dirt King UCA popped off the driver side one. I messaged Dirt king about it and they said that it usually happens when there is to much grease pumped when installing them. Supposed to be only 2 pumps. Just got them installed in October. This is the same shop that installed the UCA. Dirt King sent me a new pair of boots and clips to replace them.

How much of a chore is it to replaces those bushing? Just don't wanna pay to much for labor since they are the ones who put to much grease in originally lol.

Drilling a hole in your Tacoma with a step drill? Use a Sharpie so you don’t drill too big a hole.

 

Bigger grommet installed. Had to drill a 1” hole .

Looking to do my front and rear diff fluid this weekend. 2015 Lexus GX460 (premium trim if it matters). I am seeing part numbers 9043024017 for one front drain plug gasket and 1215710010 for the other front plug and both rear gaskets. Does that sound correct to you? I just wanted to double check before grabbing them. Thanks!

Good morning CT.
I temporarily mounted the under hood fuse box so I can determine the length of wires going into the cab. I got the length and added 6 inches.
I now need to pull the ECU and bracket from behind the glove box so I can cut a slit in the material that is on the firewall so the wires can easily pass through and I can have better access to the grommet.
I ordered 3/8" split tubing which should be here today. While I'm waiting for that I'll paint the bare metal with some touch up.

Snapped a bolt. No more.

Told the service manager and writers, if alignment adjustment points are seized, I’m telling the writer that all the parts need to be replaced or I’m not doing an alignment.

 

Don't ruin my day with the thought of a snapped bolt!
