Hey Connecticut, our everything hurts

Been blue birds, and cardinals all over the place here since the bird lady next door has been retired. She's put up bird feeders and blue bird houses at the boundaries of her yard. I've seen those blue birds fight with the sparrows over what insects they can catch.

Oh dude, the park has some amazing hiking and views. The place I am at is a pretty chill bar / disc golf course- “the collective ” Lots of good beer choices.

 

Did mine after dinner.

I kept finding bird crap all over my passenger door and no where else. Dimwitted eastern bluebird would sit on my shed roof, see himself in the door mirror, sit on the door handle or edge of mirror and peck at his reflection and crap everywhere.

 

yep, rag over the mirror time.

 

looks like a better plan than mowing the grass.

 

Harness is done and installed. Messed up the connector that plugs into it. I’ll have to see if I have one or buy another one.

Lots of rain in the foreseeable future pretty much Saturday to Saturday there’s a chance of rain every day

 

That sucks. Was hoping to get the boat in the water this weekend.

 

Love me some disc golf! Maybe a Tacoma/disc golf meet should be in order. Heck of a lot more interesting than just hanging out in a parking lot.

I'll just keep her somewhere else! To be fair, I have only ever driven shit boxes and now that we are into our late 30's, she wants to ride in something that isn't constantly rattling and on the verge of breaking down. Before the taco, my last buy was a 2003 vw tdi 5spd wagon with 193k on it and full of rust which I spent $2500 on in Dec2020. The tacoma cost more than all every car I have ever bought combined, plus all of the modifications to my miata (which is sitting at around 15k including the 4k for the car in 2013).

Indoor chores reign supreme! For me it will be putting on a Prinsu roof rack on the tacoma plus doing some tidying up of my ditch and light bar wiring. The damn thing barely fits in my garage.

Im glad you got rid of that death trap! (due to the fake roll bar). I cannot understand how people sell and buy hardtops for $2400 these days, and they leave them on all summer! Mine doesn't leave the garage unless the soft top is down.

 

Had a lot of fun with that car including auto-x around the northeast. M45 blower on a BR Performance billet manifold. Adjustable coilovers, adjustable sways, Koni shocks, header, catback exhaust, Fidanza aluminum flywheel, ACT clutch, MegaSquirt engine management, big injectors, hacked ECU to raise the rev limiter, probably some other stuff I've forgotten. Lots of spring rate changes, lots of alignment experiments. Sold it to buy a Boxster S, had that for a looooong time and now in a 911
