    Sorry I didnt post an update. Called animal control around 1130, they stopped by around noon, and they texted me around 1:30 to say the pup was back with its owner. Good outcome.

    I had contacted the company that made the gps collar it had on, gave them the device id and all they could do was try and contact the owner with my info. I never heard from anyone, so figured the best route was the animal control officer.
