Thanks me too.....as long as I am not taking a bath on my lease then its all good. They are selling the Tacoma at sticker but at this point im not going to argue the point. It has to be lunar rock and Im not waiting 6 months for a new one to come in the way I want. I also dont want to start dicking around with the 2023/2024 deadline. Ive heard mixed things, some say october is last call, others have said theres plenty of time.

@Brownmatthall - do you have any pictures of your switch system-cabside? I know 3g interior is different, but just trying to brainstorm ideas on where to mount it so it looks decent.

 

3g's have this little cubby to the left of the steering column, I drilled a tiny hole in the back to pull the wire through and screwed it right over the opening. I never used it anyway and it's all right there and really close to the fusebox and grommet through the firewall

 

This guy just flew over our house; can only assume they are headed to the Travelers tournament.

Good morning Connecticut crew.

Had a super time yesterday at Thompson Speedway at the vintage races. Huge turnout of racers and had some great conversations. One of the highlights for us was watching a driver talk with a young boy about his car in the garage and putting the lad behind the wheel and explaining how it worked. I said to him afterwards that is how guys like you help create the next generation...of guys like you.

 

Not sure if this is a G-body. My father had one of these when I was younger. I drove it a couple times and totaled it (ice on the road).

 

I don't mind em.
Almost snagged a 1980 Black El Camino with a blown SBC back in the day.
The Malibus of the era, either ya like em or hate em. Made nice drag cars and could be had for next to nothing.
There's a Grand National sitting up the road from me right now visiting.
Did a double take, not too many in the wild lately.
