I will say in the past it has been nice when I would pop into Lime Rock on a random day and some random racing would be going on. Free entertainment.

Not crazy about the interior either.
Owner claims the builder had 120k into the build.
Owner also claims he put 50 miles on the car in the last 18 years.
Hope he gets more than the current bid with no reserve.

Other than that, what's not to like about a BBC with 500hp ?:humble:

    Happy Friday all.

Things did not go as planned the other day and I sadly need to wait until the end of July to pick up the Tacoma. Turns out there was a HUGE "miscommunication" between the sales person and myself....yeah we'll go with that.

Looked at a house the other day in Northern Litchfield County.
A young couple in their 20s and an old woman agent showed up as we were almost done looking.

I wanted to take another look at a good sized shed on the edge of the property. As I was about 10 feet away, the couple and the agent were looking at an add on at the end of the shed, completely oblivious that a smallish Black Bear was standing about 12 feet in back of them scoping them out. Maybe 75-80ish pound range.
I said "Bear,Bear" in a loud voice and it took off fast.

The couple and the old bag agent were looking at me like something was wrong with me.
The old bag said that they're harmless.
    Ahh, OK,sure.
Did my good deed for the year.. Out.

    @bucktales
My FIL lives in Harwinton. He gets so many bears he had to install a gate to keep them off his deck. He always leaves his garage door open and a bear came in and pulled his golf bag out into the driveway and threw his clubs around looking for the snacks he keeps in his bag. Bear left and took his 3 wood with him!

Next day FIL goes looking in the woods for his club. Me: "Bob, there's a bear in there somewhere and he's armed with a golf club"

True story. I kept expecting to see a news story with a picture of a bear with a golf club in his mouth.

    Yep, getting out of control.
This place we looked at bordered State Forest.
That poses an issue with the three hounds we have.
With any house we would need a 6ft chain link in a large run area. A bear can scale that in 2 seconds.

House wasn't bad. Would need some stuff done. Had a kick-ass garage.
Deal breaker was a sloping back yard with an active beaver pond and mush swamp about 75 yards back, part of the property.
The swarms of skeeters at 6:00 were heavy.
Wouldn't be able to be in the back area or deck after dark.
