    It's 72° at 5 :00 a.m.
    You can shovel the humidity.
    It's gonna be 90°

    And it's Monday.
    Enjoy.

    Good morning CT. Happy Monday.
Spent most of yesterday cleaning the house. The rest of the day I was looking at Tacoma mods and front and rear bumpers.

Ordered some electrical connectors so I can make a harness for the switches inside the truck. The way I have them now, it would be difficult to remove the switch panels if needed.
I'm also going to rewire the compressor, I'm moving the switch inside the truck. I have to see if I have the correct gauge cable.

Nope. The only heavy gauge wire I have is going to be used for the inverter. I need to pick up some 8 and 10 gauge wire (according to the manual).
I might be able to reuse what I have now.

I also need to remove my wallet before driving a long distance. Driving to and from NH on Saturday made me realize that. It was about an hour before I removed it.
I really need to finish the wiring inside the truck so I can put the dash back together. I have the little cubby which is perfect for storing the wallet but the rest of the dash pieces are on my living room floor. :(
I'll begin that today. The compressor wiring can wait. Hopefully the connectors I ordered will be here before this weekend. It should be nice weather wise. :fingerscrossed:

Yesterday was a fiasco. Hadn't seen so much rain in such a short time. We had flooding throughout the area. I feel like my home is now on a tiny island.

The kitchen isn't much better. The past 10-14 days have been brutal.

Think it has to have a 5mph "bumper" to pass inspection. Tree trunk, some bar stock, room to be creative. Is there a substructure you could leave on & remove the outer bumper skin on that gen Taco?

Maybe you could inset something like this into your tailgate? Only thing is you couldn't drive with the tailgate down.

Rear bumpers on pickups used to be an option not that long ago. Unless something recently changed, you can run without it.
