Trying to. It's been a rough past few days thanks to some "news" regarding the kiddo's fall soccer league team tryouts. That definitely put a damper on things, but trying to forget about it and let it go, and trying to have fun.

 

Wise idea. It'll be there when you get home, leave it there

 

Problem is it "showed up" right in the middle of vacation, kinda fucking it up from there on out so far.

But I'm the kind of person that doesn't take shit nor likes to be played games with, so when I get home I'm gonna have a say about it. Believe you me. Won't "fix" the problem, but I'm giving them a piece of my mind so they know that I know what bullshit games they're playing, and they're not gonna pull that shit with me anymore.

Gonna try not to go too hard on them because I'm afraid of jeopardizing my kid's playing experience there for this season.

But come the end of the season I'll definitely be exploring other locals clubs for the spring, and possibly pulling out of the local soccer club we're in for now.

Doing a bunch of cleaning (throwing stuff out) today. Question: should I keep my sway bar or toss it? It's been removed for some time and I don't miss it.

Me, I'd clean it, wax it, shove it in the back of a closet. Soon as I tossed it I'd end up wanting it & it doesn't take up much space. But I tend to hoarder so take my advice with caution.

 

Eh. Now is vacation, be in the now. You can mull on various responses & what they will cause in reaction, take time to think on it between vacation moments. Just don't be one of those "Karen" (Ken?) parents. Great opp. to teach the kiddos how to deal with adversity, plan out the comeback, the work around. Remember it doesn't matter what happens (and we know shit happens!), it's how we deal with what happens. Great teaching opportunity for Dad to share some life skills with the kids (including let it go & enjoy the moment).
