One side at a time ,yes . My estimate was for both sides . The other side has rust on the back side where that patch of sheet metal from the factory is but not as bad . I forgot what the body shop called it . It keeps that part of the bed from flexing and cuts down on noise . The middle of the front section of bed panel on the inside . Rusting around the edges .

They have short bed bedsides on rockauto. I don't know how the price compares to OEM.

 

Morning all. Third day at the new job, man is it nice to only work an 8 ish hour day as opposed to 12. Its also nice when the place in run by someone who actually cares, makes my job easier.

 

Ah the honeymoon phase . I kid, that is great! I am thrilled still to be at a job where I get to pick my own hours for the most part and I am not forced into a 1 hour lunch every day like at the last place. I eat while I work at my desk and go home early. Very nice not having to be on the road when everyone else is.

My boss is up from FL this week and he makes a point to get the group and others who work with our group out after work for social time. Last night we head to The Truck Bar in Berlin for some cornhole. We show up and the place was booked for a private event and no one was even playing cornhole! Sliders was a backup and it was good as usual, but I wanted to toss some bags!

 

What kind did you get? I forget the brand I have but it's red and black, got it at Slut Lot 2 yrs ago and love it.

I have not tried it yet, but I got this one. My spigots are about 25ft from my driveway. I will likely test it out this weekend to rinse the cars off

Just bought new tires online and they were delivered yesterday. Will be getting them installed next week. Anyone interested in my old tires? Falken Wildpeak AT3/W P285/70R17. They have 45k miles on them with 5/32" left on the tread. One of the four has a couple plugs. Maybe good for full size spare if you're running this size. FREE, just so I don't have to pay to dispose of them.

Kiddo has a game today, and another one tomorrow.

 

Taco battery finally shit the bed.
Can't complain as it was over 9 years old.
Knew it was coming, but why miss out of the fun of changing it when it's 12 deg out.

 

My battery was dead today, too. Happened a few months weeks as well but got it charged up and it seemed to be fine. Nope. Went to Costco and got an Interstate 27F for ~$130.

 

I thought you 2nd gens had plastic/composite beds?

I shift my hours earlier & it makes commuting a little better. The other day I was in the zone & ended up working late, to 6:15pm ish. Amazing how much less traffic by staying an hour later. I guess those that can shift - shift earlier. That leaves a little later wide open on the roads.
