About 1” of snow expected here . Downgraded from a foot !
Just started snowing around 730

 

Getting it hard here in Vernon

 

Same here in Brookfield.

It's been coming down pretty hard. I got up at 7, and it's been non stop.

Pretty sure it was already coming down hard before I got up.

 

They reported 5" in Danbury/Bethel an hour ish ago.
4 more hours at 1"/hour would get us up to 9". Ignoring it until it's done.

Driveway report = 1/3 - 1/2 a tire & falling heavy.

 

Its coming down pretty good here in Shelton too.

 

About 4 to 5 inches here in Uncasville...still coming down strong...

 

Just reported New Milford is up to 9".
It's up to the bumper on the car.
The running board on the RV has vanished.
Just shy of the rocker panel on the truck, so that's a solid 1/2 tire deep.
3 hours to go.

If I had cheese & salsa in the house I could fuel on bagel pizza's. Poor planning. :-( Tuna on bagel is healthier I suppose.

 

Got about 6” and it’s still coming down pretty good. Went into work and stood around for 2 hours and left.
This is a back road by my house that is along side a reservoir.



Punched out at 10 and mounted the compressor under the hood. I’ll wire it another day.

Looks like it's over here in Cheshire. About 14" total. Driveway, front walk and deck cleared. Two snowmen built by my son and wife.

 

Cromwell here...hard to say, but at least 10", maybe up to 12". Really wasn't that bad. I was expecting worse. I fluid filmed the auger area and shoot yesterday. No sticking at all. 1 more pass when the town finishes up and rake the roof.

 

Finally stopped here around noon, so went out and cleaned it.

Definitely at least a foot or so.

 

Finished up with 12" in Vernon.



Driveway to bare pavement and everything cleared. I am so glad I married the gym teacher...she's a shoveler!

 

Looks like a total amount of 6 to 8 for us.

 

Bout 10-11 down my way.
Almost everything done. I'll roof rake the edges tomorrow.

It already compacted to about 4-5 inches .

 

Cleared my driveway...two-stage snowblower found this stuff challenging...then cleared 3 neighbors drives...then drove over and cleared my daughter's driveway (her with a new baby and all...)...beer was most excellent tonight

 

I spent about 4 hours of quality time with my shovel. Clean, clean, clean.
i had a good 1/2 truck tire of snow.
