New (2002) Tacoma/owner here in SW CT.
1. Heard of but never worked w/ F.F, what sort of pre-work should be done to make this most successful?
2. You'll be posting a specific address at some point?
3.I've got the new frame, does this clog up the little weep holes - they're pretty tight. Wondering if I should bring straight pins to keep the drains open.

Welcome aboard! Where in CT are you?

For pre-work, there isn't much to do. I got it done last year... all you need to do is un-mount your spare, and get the undercarriage washed a few days before so it dries out in time.

Sounds like you're right around my neck of the woods then possibly. I'm in Brookfield, work in Danbury.

Last year, when we did the fluid film, a few of us met up in Waterbury and then had a little convoy going up. I'm hoping we do the same this time around, so you're definitely more than welcome to join up and come along. The more the merrier!

Just removing the spare and a good power wash prior to the day and you are good. The film is fairly thin. I wouldn't worry too much about the weep holes... couldn't hurt to open them back up with a tool.

Well fellas I'm getting ready to head to rausch creek offroad park in pa for the 15th annual Toyota takeover. I'll be leaving Friday and coming back Sunday at some point, best part is there's even a fellow Nuttmegger going @SlashMTB10 wicked excited for it, maybe a little nervous at the same time . I'm bringing my buddy with me so hopefully I'll get a bunch of awesome pics. Also if anyone has been looking at anything on CL that's on the way I could possibly pick it up for ya.
