Morning all. Looks like a gorgeous day. Was able to place almost 4 courses on the wall after work. Ordered a pond liner. And will order the rest of the stuff today.

It's not big at all...it would be considered compact/small. Space is limited so I couldn't go that crazy. The top of the wall where the curves protrude out are roughly 6 feet wide. They will hold galvanized bottomless planters. On the ground level there is space for more container gardening on both the far and near side where the wall curves back in and begins to curve out respectively. The center of the wall will be the water feature. It will fill that large void ground level and will run the rest of the way towards the far side. That's where the pump, filter, etc will be for the spillway. The spillway will either be 1 or 2 courses from the top of the wall and placed dead center.

This will most likely not be the final iteration. I'm limited by time and space; there's a nice large stone patio to the right (low ground side) there's a large semi above ground pool to the left (top side of wall) At some point I'll connect the patio and the retaining wall area. Right now the patio and that shitty dirt "walkway" is separated by a single layer of wall blocks which my FIL admitted he just placed to place them lol. This is also not my house - it's the in laws and there are other things that also need to get done.

Morning all. Big day yesterday....got the pond liner installed.....man was that a pain in the ass....why did I have to get cute and make it not a square shape?? Laying a 5x10 ft rectangle into a wonky oval shape was not my favorite lol. Not done yet and it needs some touching up. I also need drainage rock now to backfill.
