Hey Connecticut, our everything hurts

Were getting that now too. Looks like its passing quickly though.

The dog absolutely fcked something up in his legs yesterday over the in-laws....hes in rough shape today. very slow to get up. can tell his leg is hurt as i can see the muscles tensing while hes just sitting there. will be seeing the vert tomorrow...in between work and the wedding im supposed to go to. Never a dull moment. He has had issues in the past when he does a bit too much goofing around and usually takes a day or 2 to get back to normal but this is the worst by far. Hes had xrays etc before...very mild hip dysplasia and supposedly bad knees....at 3.5 years old. THANK CHRIST for pet insurance. (and hemp/cbd treats)

 

Just started raining here. Distant thunder and now a downpour.

 

This week'sign of the impending apocalypse...

Exterminator came today to take care of the football sized wasp nest we saw under the overhang on our shed.
It was a DOUBLE nest...yellow jackets AND white faced hornets. Great, they're working in tandem now. Good luck humanity, we had a good run while it lasted

 

Getting hit with another round of thunder and rain.

here comes round 2 my way..lost power earlier for about 20 minutes. luckily it came back

That's the most amount of thunder I have ever heard.
Got woken up by it and it was hard to fall back asleep.

Got home from work yesterday and wasn't dead from the heat. Helps if I drink an insane amount of water/Gatorade.

Getting my hands dirty.

 

Rough day. My daughter tripped on her sandals and hit her head on the corner of a cabinet. Big gash on her forehead and required stitches. Shes a tough girl, but it absolutely kills me seeing her like that.

 

Disfucking like.

Hope everything is OK.

 

7 hours in the ER. Shes home now, happy as a clam. But I couldn’t be more shot from the stress of it all.

Need to get her a full face helmet or something. I have anxiety seeing her just walk around afterwards.

 

I know the feeling.

Glad she's doing OK though. That's what matters.
