Dropped off my sister and BIL at the town hall. Drove to A1 and picked up the parts I needed (they were in stock).
When I picked up my sister and BIL, I told him, "You signed the papers, you're stuck with her."

After spending an entire Saturday cutting the panels to build it, a night staining the panels and a night sealing them it was sure nice to begin assembling my son's Eagle Scout project. This monstrosity is an "information kiosk" for the senior citizen's center here in town. Now that the outside perimeter is built we can start the shelves and cubbies for books, flyers, and pamphlets. Hopefully one or two more evenings and it'll be ready for delivery.

Makes the driving experience "interesting".

 

When I had my 69 it had the same but I swapped a pretty stout 454 I built into it. The one dragstrip in NJ has a pretty short shutdown area and let's just say it could be interesting getting that sucker stopped.

Morning gents. Day off today. Going to clean the truck. Going to visit the FIL later today. He's recovering from a major surgery (removed skin cancer from the top of his head) the healing part of the surgery itself has gone great. cancer was removed skin graft is taking etc. The rest of the recovery however is tough, going to be a long road.
