Hey Connecticut, our everything hurts

Ortho doesn't think it's my SI joint. He thinks it's something else. Possibly the disk issue that showed up on the MRI causing the problem. So what he suggested is getting a shot in that area to see what happens. If it works, great, we found the problem. If it doesn't, then he already has another plan. The next step would be the joints around the area which he would also treat with a shot, but that would be a 3 step "process". But going to try this single shot first.

But I'm convinced that whatever I have is never gonna go away. Mainly because now they have to get approval from the insurance which can take 1-2 weeks. And I know the insurance is going to deny it so then they have to "fight it" which will take even longer. So by the time it gets approved, almost a month, if not more) will have gone by. And with my luck, the shot they'll give me isn't going to do anything which then means I'll have to go through this all over again for the other procedure he would do.

FML. I'm screwed.

Got the call just now to go ahead and schedule the shot. Insurance already approved it.

Going to have it done Thursday morning.

I was going to say it should get approved pretty quick. A shot doesn't cost the insurance company too much money and you've already tried the more conservative treatments. Hopefully the shot does the trick and gets you on the right track!

 

If the shot I'm getting doesn't do the trick, at least the doc already has a "backup plan".

At least now I'm getting treated more precisely in my opinion, with more targeted approaches.

Fingers crossed something does the job. ideally I'd like the first shot to do the job, but we'll see what happens.

Didn't get the spare dropped. I was hungry and went home for lunch. Has anybody had a squeak in that area so I know what I'm looking for?
If I bang on the tire it makes the squeak noise. ,Yes, the spare is tight.

Hello…. Just found this CT thread. I was wondering if anyone has any familiarity with CT Undercoating in Plainville? Hoping to get some undercoating done for first time before this coming winter on 2020 Taco. Thanks for any info you guys might have.

 

Their product is asphalt based. Look for someone that uses a Fluid Film or Woolwax product.
