Had a good time at the hayride. The lines were long but they moved pretty quickly. Food there was expensive but you'd figure that much. Was about 47 degrees when we left.

My shoulders never bothered me too much until about a year ago . Usually it’s the back and neck but yea the Dr said full shoulder replacement is in the future when I can’t deal with the pain anymore . I did get the crossbow permit to use the full archery season . Do not need to apply again for 5 years .

Didn't get too many pics. I keep the phone locked in the trunk of the 2 up seat I added for my wife. IMO it's definitely worth it and depending on what type of riding you want and what your ORV of choice is I'd say there's different parts of the system that you'd want to hit. I've only ridden the Rockhouse/Devil Anse/Buffalo Mtn section, there's 300 miles of trails but after 2 trips down we may have done half of them. We generally do a destination ride to a particular town for lunch then try to take a different route back to the resort. We're going to back in April and are planning on packing lunches and hitting more off the beaten path trails rather than taking the thoroughfares between towns. If you plan on going I can recommend the place we stayed. Newer cabins, a bar, restaurant, pool, and fuel on premises. It's called Devil's Backbone Adventure Resort. We were all kind of excited to finally see the "famous" goat. He will come down from the mountain and eat from your hand. LOL!

 

Figured it'd be worth mentioning those mountains in MD and WV are f&#king rough. My worst tank of gas on the ride home was through there and I only managed 10.8 mpg and my best was after the mountains through MD, PA, and NJ where it was fairly flat and there were trucks moving at a decent pace to draft off off I managed to get that tank up to 16.5 mpg for a bit. Eventually I had to stop drafting but still managed 15.5 over the 3/4 of a tank I used then. I still like this truck and with the OTT and intake spacer it did better than it did last trip but the fact it's down 100hp from my last truck AND gets worse gas mileage just pulling a little trailer with a quad on it leaves me somewhat confused.

 

You could’ve cut the wire shorter. And why are you using a wire nut?

 

If you use wire nuts on cars you shouldn't be allowed to work on cars anymore.

Howdy all. Hope Monday behaved and treated everyone well.

 

Unfortunately even though on paper I had a little less than my normal work load I had to clean up a couple of payroll messes from when I was off last week and from when my guys worked OT over the weekend and the supervisors that work Saturday and Sunday screwed it up. I always say my number one job is making sure my guys' money is right.

 

Im sure they are appreciative you take the time to make sure they are taken care of.

 

I think they are. Having a team that has your back is priceless IMO.
